Data Recovery Shipping Instructions To Ensure Media Safety
Before shipping
your media to our laboratory for recovery we ask that you read through
these instructions to ensure that your media is properly packaged
and reaches our facilities in a secure fashion.
Step
1: Protecting Your Media
If possible, please ensure that your media is wrapped in anti-static
material.
Step 2: Packing Your Media
Place your media in a box approximately twice the size of the media
you are sending in.
Step 3: Securing Your Media
Pack the box with foam bubbles, paper, and/or anti-static material
to ensure that the media is secure and protected. This prevents
damage should the box get damaged or dropped on its way to our recovery
facility.
Step 4: Ship Your Media
Once your media is properly wrapped, boxed, and secured for shipment
you are ready to ship it to our recovery facility. Our facility
